JV Wong is the president and CEO of People Ignite, Inc., a more than two decade-old training and professional development consulting company.  JV is a facilitator, speaker, trainer, and growth coach for people in various industries.

She began her career in the infotech industry with roles in marketing, alliance building, and learning and development. In 2003, JV received from Microsoft the Customer-Partner Experience (CPE) Hero award for Southeast Asia and the Pacific. After her career in Microsoft Philippines, she pursued her dream of having her own company where she could share, teach, and positively ignite others.

Today, together with her team at People Ignite, JV sees her work as an avenue where she can ignite hope, resilience, and growth in their mission places.

Resilience is a constant theme in JV's life. Early in the pandemic, JV co-founded Women Supporting Women (WSW) Philippines, an online platform support group that helped women navigate, cope with, and pivot during the pandemic by featuring stories from fellow women and facilitating live-streamed conversations among them on such relevant matters as starting a business, homeschooling, and ensuring all-around health and wellness. With her stories of triumphs amidst trials, JV was recognized in 2020 as a Woman of Resilience by the Philippine Commission on Women and Procter and Gamble Philippines.

Having survived cancer for more than 20 years, she has focused her time and energy on moments that matter. These include passionately leading People Ignite, pursuing graduate studies in Human Capital and Organizational Development at the University of Asia and the Pacific, and nurturing her family as a devoted wife to Wowie and a cheerleader mom to kids Angelica and Paolo.
